Does my child need to be toilet trained?

We ask that all children registering for camp be toilet trained. Please email us at info@axisadventurecamps.com to discuss further.

What biking abilities does Axis cater to?

We coach all abilities from balance bikers, just pedaling, to kids exploring on blue trails. For more information please see our “Biking Abilities” page.

Do we need to pack snacks and lunch, and is this a nut free camp?

Yes Axis is a nut free camp. Please pack a snack in your child’s camelbak and a healthy lunch in a lunch kit.

What kind of bike does my child need?

We suggest bringing a bike your child is comfortable on for their first day.

Their bike should have hand brakes not back pedal brakes.

What should my child bring to camp?

For bike camps:

Children should arrive at camp ready for biking (helmet, gloves, elbow/knee pads, camelback with water/snack). Children should be dressed for the weather as bike rain or shine!

A ziplock or small backpack with a change of clothes, and a swimsuit (summer only). A healthy packed lunch with a sun hat attached.

For Peak Adventures:

Children should dress according to the weather with closed toe shoes and a sun hat. Children will also need a camelbak with snack and water, as well as lunch. For water days please also pack a swimsuit.
